Okay, I'm still not too familiar with some of the stuff on this site and want a little more insight on this stuff.

First, I noticed that people had pictures of their desktop screenshot, I figured that out and when I went to make it active on my profile, I saw something for a deviantID..........what is that? Do I make one?? And if so, is it supposed to be a certain size?

Also, about this print thing. I noticed that people would have a drawing available for prints and I guess if you want it, you pay for it?? I had someone a while ago suggest that I make one of my drawings avalable for a print. Does that money go to the site, or the creator??

So if ya know, which I'm sure most of you know, then fill me in. Thankies! :)

Hehe you allready have you deviantID up and running, in your case it is the picture of you wielding the plasma rifle.

All you questions regarding prints is probably answerd here - [link]
Well when I went to choose a deviantID under where I select the desktop screenshot, there is nothing there.

DeviantID's are just things you use that go above your information on your profile page. It's easy stuff. It probably shouldn't be bigger than 500 pixels across, so that it fits properly.

In the prints, I think 10% goes to you, and the rest to the site. You might want to look it up in the dA FAQ.

I think you have to upload a pic as a desktop screenshot or deviantID to have them appear in your edit profile, I think. And as far as prints go I think you need a subscription for that which I don't have, so I dont know.
Okay that's helpful. Thanks! :)

Oh, with me its the opposite. I can choose whatever picture I want for my deviantID as long as I have uploaded it as a deviant submisson. When it comes to the desktop screenshot I only have one picture to choose from, which is not my desktop image...
I wish I could help you, but I'm really new here (I still haven't tried out the 'Chat' feature)...

Prints of your art go to DeviantArt if ordered through DA. You can use paypal for private transactions not handled by DA itself. I have done this several times. The buyer adds your e-mail address to their paypal payment and you are informed by paypal of the purchase followed by instructions on how to receive the payment.

Sorry, that first part didn't come out right. The artist gets a small percentage of the profit for DeviantART transactions however the artist doesn't have to handle any of the printing. DA does all of that. Giclee printing is fairly expensive so it's doubtful that DA gets much either.
